As an Alpena native, I grew up in Maple Ridge on a hobby beef cattle farm that grew to be known as Highpointe Farm. My family eventually moved away from the farm but the memories and lessons remain.
Upon graduating from physical therapy school in Oklahoma, the idea of owning and operating my own clinic was a dream I thought would take many years to achieve. However, after moving back to the Alpena area three years ago I quickly realized the need for a different kind of physical therapy and sports performance center.
The support from my family, friends, fellow small business owners, and the entrepreneurial spirit of Alpena pushed me to start Highpointe Rehab + Performance to fill that need.
The name is rooted in my own personal history, but also reflects the mission: to help the people of Alpena and the surrounding area reach the highest point of their physical potential.
